Cupcake Pincushion FREE Crochet Pattern

• Worsted Weight Yarn. 4 colors: Brown, Pink, Red and White.
• 4.5 mm Crochet hook.
• Cushion Stuffing.

With Pink yarn, do 47 ch, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 2 dc in next ch, 1 sc in next 2 ch, * 2 dc in next 2 ch, 1 sc in next 2 ch * repeat 10 more times. Fasten off.

Start:

With Red yarn create a Magic Ring with 6 sc.

Round 1:

2 sc in each sc (12 sts).

Round 2 to 3:

1 sc in each sc (12 sts).

Round 4:

* sc2tog * repeat 5 more times (6 sts).

Fasten off.

The Cream is goin to be in the Magic Ring.

With White yarn do the Magic Ring (no join) and inside do * 3 ch, 3 dc, 3 ch and 1 sl st * repeat 4 more times.

Close the Magic Ring and Fasten off.

Start:

With Pink yarn create a Magic Ring with 6 sc.

Round 1:

2 sc in each sc (12 sts).

Round 2:

* 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (18 sts).

Round 3:

* 1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (24 sts).

Round 4:

* 1 sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (30 sts).

Round 5:

* 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (36 sts).

Round 6:

1 sc in each sc (36 sts).

Round 7:

* 1 sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (42 sts).

Round 8 to 11:

1 sc in each sc (42 sts, 4 rounds in total).

Fasten off.

Finishing First Part:

With Pink Yarn sew the waves around the bottom of the pink part of the cupcake. Then with White yarn sew the cream on top of the pink part. Finally with Red yarn sew the cherry in the center of the cream.

Start:

With Brown yarn create a Magic Ring with 6 sc.

Round 1:

2 sc in each sc (12 sts).

Round 2:

* 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (18 sts).

Round 3:

* 1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (24 sts).

Round 4:

* 1 sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (30 sts).

Round 5 to 8:

1 sc in each sc. Do only the Round 5 working with the back loop of the stitches. Do the Round 6, 7 and 8 working normally. (30 sts, 4 rounds in total).

Round 9:

* 1 sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (36 sts).

Round 10:

1 sc in each sc (36 sts).

Round 11:

* 1 sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (42 sts).

Fasten off.

Finishing the Cupcake:

With Pink Yarn sew the two parts of the cupcake. Remember stuff it before closing completely.
