Shield, Sword and Bow FREE Applique Crochet Pattern

• Worsted Weight Yarn. 4 colors: Brown, Beige, Gray and Black.
• 4.5 mm Crochet hook.

Start:

With Brown yarn create a Magic Ring with 6 sc.

Round 1:

2 sc in each sc (12 sts).

Round 2:

* 1 sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (18 sts).

Round 3:

* 1 sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (24 sts).

Round 4:

Change to Beige yarn. * 1 sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc * repeat 5 more times (30 sts).

Details:

To make the ornaments of the shield, first you must do 6 stitches around the shield forming a hexagon.Then do 3 long stitches across the center of the shield. Finally sew V shape stitches inverted over each side of the hexagon. Look at the graphic to help you.

Fasten off.

Start:

With Gray yarn do 13 ch.

Round 1:

1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next 10 ch. Now you will do the following stitches in the next chain. These sts will make it so you can turn your work, to work on the other side of ch. Do 1 sc in next ch, 1 sc in the middle of this ch, 1 sc in the opossite side of this ch. Continue doing 1 sc in next 10 ch, 1 sl st in next ch.

To finish the make a long stitch in the middle of the Blade.

Fasten off.

Start:

With Brown yarn do 5 ch.

Round 1:

1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sc in next 2 ch. Now you will do the following stitches in the next chain. These sts will make it so you can turn your work, to work on the other side of ch. Do 1 sc in next ch, 1 sl st in the middle of this ch, 1 sl st in the opossite side of this ch. Continue doing 1 sl st in next 2 ch, 4 ch, 1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sl st in next 4 ch.

To finish the Sword, with Brown yarn, sew the sword’s hilt to the blade.

Fasten off.

Start:

With Brown yarn do 20 ch.

Round 1:

1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 1 sl st in next 8 ch, skip next ch, 1 sl st in next 9 ch.

To finish, take a thin Black yarn and pass it from one end to another of the arc. Then make a knot at both ends.

If you want, to make a grip, you can pass a Beige yarn around the center of the Bow.

Fasten off.
